Based on research in a school chain called "Schools for Life", the authors discuss the importance of education as a strategy of social mobility, closure and reproduction.
The rapid commercial positioning of "Schools for Life" in the Peruvian educational market represents an opportunity to understand the new social dynamics between society, the State and the private sector, as well as examine the processes of social differentiation and reproduction that school choice and the education process represent.
