My publication path
My research interests are broad and my publication trajectory exemplifies that. However, the thread that connects it all is my interest in understanding the different ways in which social inequality manifests and the social structures that sustain inequality.
I have published research on privatization of education and school choices, gender inequality in academia, the relation between education, citizenship building, and attitudes toward inequality, police definitions and justifications of violence against Indigenous women, and how the increasing connections between the criminal justice system and schools heighten Latina girls’ experiences of violence, among others.
I invite you to check my publications. If you are unable to access them, email me and I will send you a copy.
